Thanks so very much for all your words of support. Nan hit the nail on the head - if they feel loved and love themselves, that's all that matters.

The last week has been a lot better. I'm working with a new counselor. The girls are in day care full-time this week. I spent yesterday thrifting and tomorrow will spend time with a friend.
